As everyday needs change, families often find themselves managing home maintenance, transportation, appointments, meals, safety concerns, and several different service providers. This can be especially difficult when family members live in another city or have demanding schedules.

Michael Strayer

Liberty Nest was founded by Michael Strayer, an emergency physician with extensive experience helping people and families navigate unexpected challenges.

Through his work, Michael has seen how home-safety concerns, disconnected services, and small unmet needs can gradually threaten an older adult’s independence. He created Liberty Nest to offer families a more organized and proactive approach—before those concerns become a crisis.

His goal is simple: help older adults live confidently at home while giving their families a reliable local partner.
